FiiO DM15 AKM Portable CD Player for audiophiles, new Delta-Sigma DAC version. With this new 2026 version of the amazing DM15 R2R CD Player, FiiO is giving music purists more choice, with a newly tuned alternative.

Who is the DM15 AKM for?

Perfect for audiophiles using bluetooth, FiiO has incorporated the latest Qualcomm QCC3086 chip that adds the Bluetooth apt-x Lossless codec. For future proofing, or for sending audio out to new headphones that also have apt-x Lossless Bluetooth built in, you can stream your cd music wirelessly in the best sounding BT codec available, retaining the full bandwidth of your cd music!

This new AKM Delta-Sigma DAC version also has a different tuning vs the R2R model, with a warm-neutral tuning and excellent measurements and specs. At a slightly lower price, it also keeps almost all of the key features people love on the DM15 R2R.

FiiO DM15 AKM Key Shared Features:

Custom Remote Control included
1100mW Balanced Headphone Output Power
Desktop Mode
Mechanical Controls - buttons / dial / keys
Retro Amber HD Display
All Metal Housing
Top Mounted Window
Reliable Custom CD Mechanism
3 BASS Modes + 8 EQ Settings

CD Player Doubles as a USB DAC

Stationed next to a computer, the DM15 AKM is the perfect audio hub with its HiFi Grade usb interface. Connect over usb to the computer, then out to headphones using the built in powerful headphone amp.

Or, connect the LO (Line Out) at the rear to powered speakers, for an awesome sounding source to drive your speakers. DM15 AKM can decode all your streaming high res files, up to 384kHz/32 Bit and even DSD256 files!

With a usb cable connected for power, use FiiO's Patented Desktop Mode! This bypasses the internal battery, running from usb power while stationary, preserving the lifespan of your battery. Secondly, it unlocks a high-power headphone output stage, for thrilling listening with Planar Magnetic and Open-Back headphones!

The housing is metal with a clear window on the top panel, with a volume dial, buttons and switches for controls, for an interesting retro vibe while using the device.
