FiiO DM15 R2R Portable CD Player, with Bluetooth transmission. DM15 R2R is a portable CD Player built around FiiO's custom designed R2R DAC, with an outstanding headphone amp section and bluetooth transmitter. Innovative Portable Audio Packaging

After the success of our DM13 CD Player, we set out to raise the bar even further! The DM15 R2R is even smaller in size while offering higher performance. Packed into its portable chassis are five core modules: the CD Servo, USB DAC, R2R Module, and Bluetooth Module, all managed and coordinated by an MCU controller chip. 

FiiO DM15 R2R integrates high performance and a surprisingly broad blend of practical audio features, for headphone and stereo use.

This makes DM15 R2R an ideal platform for use with planar, higher end or even higher impedance headphones.

Desirable R2R DAC 

In order to recapture the classic audio character of vintage higher end audio, the CD Player is equipped with a proprietary 24Bit R2R resistor arrays DAC. The R2R DAC is built using a grand total of 192 precision thin-film resistors (48 per channel), carefully selected for their 0.1% accuracy. 

The result is a nuanced, warm, and organic analog sound that was so popular in 2025 and that we are happy to be making more available than ever, with the DM15 R2R, for 2026.

It features plenty of cutting edge design features. It includes a HiFi-grade USB sound card, can decode high res music files even with very high bitrates up to 384kHz/32bit and DSD256 - perfect to decode Apple Lossless high res music when connected to your macbook.

The R2R DAC allows the sound in USB DAC mode to be rendered with distinct musicality - a lack of glare or hardness in the highs, so you get to experience all the fine details, but with a touch of smoothness that makes long listening sessions so enjoyable. 

There is an improved Electronic Shock Protection (ESP) system built in, switchable on the rear of the unit, as shown above. This enhances the portability and practicality for daily use.

Cutting Edge Bluetooth Hardware

DM15 R2R features bluetooth transmission based on the top of the line Qualcomm QCC3095 Bluetooth chip. It supports standard and high-res Bluetooth transmission protocols, including aptX, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, and SBC.

Bluetooth transmission is supported for both CD input and USB input. The retro coloured orange screen gives plenty of feedback on status / control and makes pairing and connecting Bluetooth devices perfectly clear.

This lets you send your music to your high end wireless headphones and enjoy their best possible wireless audio quality - the player is an ideal bluetooth source for the top of the line wireless headphones and earbuds, like the Focal, Bowers & Wilkins and Noble models, so you can really hear what those headphone are capable of in wireless use.

You can also send music over bluetooth to powered speakers and get the same awesome audio results. So handy and such a fun new way to use your CD's!

There are 3 BASS settings and 8 built-in EQ presets, making it easy to tune the sound and make adjustments depending on the music you are listening to and its recording style. There is even a specially tuned RETRO sound preset that delivers a rich, analog, and classic sound flavor.

You can also rip CD's while listening, in WAV format, onto a usb stick, as shown above. Power for the DM15 R2R is via a simple usb cable. The front panel has a volume dial, buttons and even switches, making it fun and easy to use!
