Oak Nano builds on the innovations from the previous model that used Beryllium drivers, FiiO FD7 IEMs, taking lessons learned and making improvements wherever possible. The headline feature is the metal used for the driver. Beryllium as a driver material is ultra-lightweight, exceptionally rigid, and superior to aluminum or titanium, but very difficult to work with. 

FiiO has gained expertise in working with Beryllium over the past several years, developing a Beryllium alloy that mimics the performance of pure Beryllium drivers. Through precision engineering we have reduced the thickness even further, improving the natural qualities of the driver such as improving high frequency extension, faster response and reduced distortion. 

The space age diaphragm is controlled by a new magnet system, developed for this XL size, with a powerful force of up to 1.5T (Tesla), powering the driver and keeping it in perfect control. FiiO has added a custom tuning lens in front of the driver, to refine the response further (called FiiO's Acoustic Prism System).

Oak Nano Full Titanium Housing 

The shell of the IEM is made from pure Titanium - CNC Machined, hand polished and PVD coated for a long life to the gorgeous exterior. Not only a beautiful finish, Titanium is lighter than many other metals and incredibly strong, perfect for IEMs. FiiO has also built air venting into the housing, around the 2-pin cable connector. 

These vents and damping have 2 purposes - they help to tune the bass to be more accurate and powerful, even at high volumes of over 110dB! They also help to impart a fullness and power to the vocals, for clearly improved response in the midrange. Enjoy a rich body and natural depth to the vocals and mids that was not present in previous versions.

Treble extension in the highs is far exceeds expectations of a driver this large, with an agile and precise refinement and presentation of fine detail you might expect from a multi-driver model. 

Adjust the sound to your liking, choose either the bassier or brighter of the two metal, swappable nozzles. While both sound similar, there are subtle differences of emphasis. The Black nozzle is more focused on the highs, detail and precision, ideal for jazz, classical and gaming.

Red nozzles elevate the bass and sub-bass a bit more, for a deep, powerful feel to the music, perfect for electronic, rock and soundstracks.

Oak Nano Cable Includes 3 Swappable Plugs

The included cable holds nothing back! The cable is made of high purity 6N copper, silver plated, then cryo-treated for 100 hours at -192c, with 2-pin connectors to the IEMs. It comes standard with 3 interchangeable plugs:

• 4.4mm balanced
• Type-C UCB

The Type-C plug houses a DSP audio decoding chip with balanced output, supporting 32-bit/384kHz PCM hi-res audio decoding alongside 8-band precision PEQ tuning, controllable through the FiiO Control app.
