Going all in on the retro theme for 2026, the new Snowsky Disc is a super affordable upgrade to the Echo Mini, at only $20 more. With a larger touchscreen, a new operating system and Airplay built in, it adds some fun upgrades and is a top value lossless music player under $150.
Snowsky Disc still does not use apps, so it is ideal for people with their own music collection saved (FYI, no built in storage, you must use a micro SD card). Load up to 2TB of your music files onto a micro SD card and play your music, anywhere. Stream these files over bluetooth to your headphones, earbuds or out to a bluetooth speaker. The bluetooth output works over bluetooth 5.4 for a stable, reliable link.

Disc has a built in headphone amp, with both standard 3.5mm jack and a powerful balanced output of 280mW from the 4.4mm jack. Use your headphones and IEM's with a balanced cable, with no adaptors needed and get the best performance available from the plucky music player!
It adds Airplay, allowing it to receive music from your iphone or ipad, then connect to your wired headphones or IEM's. This gives iphone users one more option to access your music and lets you access music on your streaming subscription.
It can be used as a usb dac from a computer, so you can connect with usb and plug in your wired headphones to take advantage of the balanced headphone amp output. Portable DAC with 4.4mm balanced output!
It can even be used as a digital source over usb out, as a music file player, into a high end DAC.
Built in EQ
There is an 8 preset EQ built in to help you customize your music, including fun presets like Retro, Pop & Rock. There are fun UI options for album art, the round screen can mimic a spinning vinyl record, there is an analog style clock and more to come with firmware updates.
The aluminum build feels sleek and looks modern. There is a cutout to attach your lanyard and there is a 'LP' themed sticker included to dress up the housing and go all-in on the retro theme.
