FiiO FT1 Headphone is available in two beautiful real wood finishes: American Walnut and Beech. FT1 is an ideal all round headphone for listening or home studio use. It is a closed back design for isolation, lightweight & over ear, for long term comfort, easy to drive so it sounds great with a wide variety of sources and is tuned to provide great sound quality with a huge variety of music and a spacious soundstage.

FiiO FT1 Dynamic 60mm Driver

The huge 60mm diaphragm primarily consists of carefully selected paper wood fibers, combined with a precise amount of carbon fiber, for light weight and high stiffness, providing excellent audio reproduction.

The headphone housing incorporates a variety of features that specifically enhance the closed-back listening experience. A series of sound insulation components inside effectively reduce ambient noise by up to 26dB for excellent isolation. Whether you’re commuting, editing recordings, working in an office, or gaming, it allows you to immerse yourself in high-fidelity audio.

The U-shaped sound damping tube (like a vent or port in speakers) specifically developed for the FiiO FT1 allows sound energy to pass through a specific length and angle of the opening, reducing cavity resonance frequency. This further enhances bass extension so you’ll hear and feel the air movement and the focused power of beautiful low end reproduction.

This is an easy to drive, efficient headphone by design. To achieve this, it features a low impedance design of 32Ω along with a fairly high sensitivity of 98dB/mW. This significantly reduces the demand for driving power, allowing you to enjoy excellent sound quality with a wide range of audio devices, from computers, to portable Dongle DACs, receivers and portable CD Players.

What is a great Matching DAC for the FT1?

Pro Tip - Pair the headphone with the K11 or K11 R2R desktop DAC for a great match. We also love using the FT1 with the KA15 and KA17 Dongle DACs and it works surprisingly well with the little FiiO Retro Nano bluetooth dac too!

To make it more compact and lightweight, the headband features high-quality ball bearing slides. They are durable and will help extend the lifespan of the headphone as well as being lightweight and compact.

The headband offers 12 notches of adjustment range to accommodate various head sizes with great comfort. The part of the headband in contact with the head is made of suede leather material for a soft and comfortable wearing experience. It is a light feeling headphone with low clamping feel on the sides and just right padding on top - comfort has been found to be excellent for a huge range of head shapes and sizes.

Included accessories are: a premium headphone carry case, so refined and stylish its rarely seen in this price class. It includes two 1.5m headphone cables – terminated in 3.5mm SE and 4.4mm BAL plugs. Both cables are made using an oxygen-free silver-plated copper wire base with 392 wires, are of 24AWG thickness, perfect for high res and lossless audio.
