Compact Size Perfect for Commuting:
FiiO JM21 (4G+64G) was designed to be light weight and compact, perfect for portable use. The housing is an ultra thin 13mm, and the weight is kept lighter than an average new phone, at 156g, thanks to the housing being built with an alloy front with a plastic rear cover. The player's portability and light weight make it perfect for use during travel, commuting and exercise.
The 680 processor, 6nm, used here as the CPU, offers higher CPU performance with lower power consumption and heat generation than previous generation chips. This is light years more advanced than some DAPs in this price range that only play local music, no streaming and cannot load apps.
There is an open android 13 system that supports all your streaming apps and even apps for your bluetooth headphones. The JM21 DAP works with everything! Perfect for travel, everyday carry commuting and even to the gym.
The DAC and AMP Really Outperform:
It features a popular DAC in dual configuration - Cirrus Logic CS43198 x2, combined with SGM8262 headphone amplification system, to provide clean sound from a compact, ultra thin music player that keeps its cool. The efficient amps also provide high output, 700mW through the balanced output, a huge amount for a device this thin & compact. JM21 v2 is suitable for most IEM's and over ear headphones.
The 3.5mm and 4.4mm headphone outputs also serve as line out (LO) outputs, allowing you to connect external amplifiers or powered speakers. The player also supports usb audio output, allowing you to use it in more situations with other products.
Connect by usb to your ipad or computer, then plug in your headphone to the JM21 v2. It is now working as the usb dac, driving the headphones, so you can get improved audio quality from your ipad or computer!
